Easy access by motorway, private plane, ships from Belgium and France, coach, or train.

AFTER FOLLOWING DIRECTIONS BELOW
In the cul-de-sac, on your left, are two wooden gates.  Go through the small gate and follow shingle path towards the sea and to the left.  ‘Heaven-by-the-Sea’ (5 Beach Houses) is the last house on the seafront. Follow the houses right round – please do NOT knock on any house.  Disregard house numbers, as they are out of sequence.  We are the very last house you will come to. 

BY CAR
From London , take A2 (or get onto M25) then M2. 
At end of M2, continue straight on A299 until you reach Margate .                                    

Immediately you see the sea on your left you turn around the big roundabout as if you are returning the way you have just come.  (DO NOT DRIVE ALONG THE SEAFRONT – YOU WILL GET LOST!)

About 20 metres from the roundabout on the right (on the side of the sea) are cars parked in front of a building called the Nayland Rock, in Sea View Terrace.

Drive in there and then towards the left to a cul-de-sac.  Park.

BY TRAIN
Get train to Margate .  ( London Victoria goes direct to Margate .)  From station, it’s a 5 minutes walk to the Centre. 

Walk across the road to where cars park in front of a building called the Nayland Rock, in Sea View Terrace.

Walk into the car area and then towards the left to a cul-de-sac. 

BY PRIVATE PLANE TO LOCAL AIRPORT
Fly to Kent International Airport .  You will be approximately 10 minutes from “Heaven-by-the-Sea” by taxi.  Ring 01843 221166 or 01843 291291

BY SHIP FROM BELGIUM TO RAMSGATE
This is a car ferry only, no foot passengers.  Get taxi from Ramsgate harbour – approx 20 minutes to “Heaven-by-the-Sea”. If driving, follow signs to London , then Margate .  On Margate seafront, head away from the harbour, with the sea on your right until you go over a large roundabout.  About 20 metres from the roundabout on the right (on the side of the sea) are cars parked in front of a building called the Nayland Rock.  Drive in and towards the left to a cul-de-sac.  Park.

BY SHIP FROM FRANCE TO DOVER
Foot passenger or car ferries.  Trains from Dover to Margate are not by a simple route – check before traveling.  Taxi will take about 45 minutes.  By car, find direction towards London , turn at sign to Ramsgate, follow signs to Margate .  On Margate seafront, head away from the harbour, with the sea on your right until you go over a large roundabout.  About 20 metres from the roundabout on the right (on the side of the sea) are cars parked in front of a building called the Nayland Rock.  Drive in and towards the left to a cul-de-sac.  Park.

BY COACH
Get off at Margate sea-front.  Walk long the promenade with the sea on your right.

About 20 metres on the other side of a large roundabout (on the side of the sea) are cars parked in front of a building called the Nayland Rock, in Sea View Terrace. 

Walk in there and then towards the left to a cul-de-sac.
