IRH Membership - Everything about it say's QUALITY

Dear Prospective Member

Thank you for your recent enquiry about joining the IRH. I enclose an application" form as requested'. If you have taken your Reiki 1 degree more than 2 years ago, or if you belong to any CONFEDERATION of HEALING ORGANIZATIONS you may join the IRH as a full member. Otherwise. please note the following.'

1. We suggest that, initially, you join as a Trainee Member, if you took Reiki 1 degree less than 2 years ago, and regret that this is regardless of how long you have been healing, or whether or not you are a Reiki Master. We pray that this is acceptable and trust that you will understand the following reasoning.

2. The ICO (Independent Care Organizations) are now setting standards for all complimentary therapies. Reiki is one of the therapies setting standards in order to apply to join IRH. these new standards will mean that every one will have to understand certain criteria (probably NOT about Reiki energies or how to use them) as order to belong to a quality organization. These criteria have not existed previously.

3. Even reputable organizations suds as the NFSH and the CHO are having to rethink their training programme to satisfy' ICO requirements.

4. Therefore, to help you on the pathway of this new government recognized Quality Assured Reiki Healing it seems appropriate that all members should join as trainee members first.

5. The standards need to be agreed in their initial form. After that we should be able to give you a guideline of the criteria needed for you to apply to become a full member of the IRH. Your full membership status will then be government recognized.

6. Please remember that belonging to the IRH as a trainee member will still provide you with many benefits. This includes a standard insurance policy, that covers you for both practitioners insurance, and for £1000.000 public liability.

7. This is the way to go to further our evolution and acceptance as healers. We hope that, via the IRH certain healers' attitudes that have existed in the past will now mature.

Gone should be the following attitudes;

a. that some practitioners are better that others; (we are all striving to help others).

b. that because they have been healers for X number officers they known everything; (the new ICO criteria will provide knowledge guidelines most experienced heaters have not even thought about).

c. that they are worthy to be full heaters just because they have taken two or three courses, (this type of ego

will soon be released with the greater understanding of how much should be learned to be called a professional quality healer.

d. or even worse, that they known better than medical professionals (who we must work with, not against).

The future is bright for the vast majority of good-hearted healers wishing to promote both themselves as quality healers, and also healing as a quality profession.

PROTECTION WITH PEACE

After prolonged research, The International Reiki Healers is now well into it's second year of operation. The IRH is attracting many Reiki practitioners and Masters. Their reasons for joining a varied, but 4 reasons stand out:

  • They cannot obtain adequate insurance elsewhere, and
  • They are dissatisfied with their current Reiki organization.
  • Other organizations promote their own beliefs at the expense of others. Whereas the IRH is completely open to all and does not comment on others.
  • The IRH is Reiki non-political, and is neither for nor against lineage.

The IRH is not a voice of any one person, it is an organization for all lineages, for all levels within Reiki, for all Reiki beliefs. The IRH simply applies standard Codes of Conduct, Codes of Practice and Disciplinary Procedures. These codes are universally used by other healing organizations, and are therefore agreeable to all, regardless of the healing method used.

You may apply for IRH membership immediately if you comply with one of the following options:

  • If you are already a member of another Confederation of Healing Organizations healing group such as the National Federation of Spiritual Healers, World Federation of Healers, County Healers, British Alliance of Healing Associations, Spiritualist Association of Great Britain, etc. you may apply for full membership immediately, or...
  • If you have taken Reiki 1 (First Degree Reiki) more than two years ago you may apply for full membership immediately.

Otherwise you should join as a trainee member. Please remember that belonging to the IRH as a trainee member will still provide you with many benefits. This includes a standard insurance policy that covers you for both practitioners insurance and for £1,000,000 public liability.
