'HEAVEN-BY-THE-SEA'

Spectacular Skies and Seascapes. 'Heaven-by-the-Sea’ is a Victorian house situated in a quiet location in Margate, on the South East coast of England.  All rooms have stunning sea views.  Turner, the English artist, said that Margate’s sunsets were Europe’s finest - and they still are!  'Heaven-by-the-Sea' provides beauty and peace.  Themed bedrooms include Egypt, India, Greece, and Angels.  Laze in the Jacuzzi bathroom, enjoy breakfast on the on the hand-carved dining Nepalese dining table, in our Himalayan-style beach-front dining room, or just relax and read a book from our extensive library as you watch the tide go in and out...    

Nature at its best. Gloriously golden sandy beaches enhance each side of the centre: sea eroded chalk platforms are sites of special scientific interest, fossils and flints abound in nearby white cliffs, an abundance of sea creatures can be discovered in rock pools uncovered at low tide, many types of seagulls, as well as waders, shanks, sandlings and cormorants make their homes here and unusual migratory birds make this beach their first, or last resting place on their way to or from England.

Outdoor Activities. 'Heaven-by-the-Sea' is quiet and secluded. However, for the active, there is a nearby sports centre, as well as golf courses, tennis club, indoor and outdoor bowls, tenpin bowling, gymnasiums, fun park, cinemas, museums, clubs, theatres, ‘Olde Worlde’ pubs, and a wealth of award-winning restaurants.   

THERAPY AND LEARNING

Heaven-by-the-Sea offers complementary therapies that complement doctors.  In GP’s surgeries, 71% of chronic patients the doctor could not help were helped by the complementary therapist!  So there is a good chance one of our wide range of therapies may also help you!  
Therapies can be received as a patient or studied as a student.  Effective therapies offered include for cancer, ADHD, back pain, migraine, depression, anger, low energy, sleeplessness, ADD, sadness, bereavement, tinnitus, and sciatica.  
 Allan Sweeney's therapy and teaching is highly acclaimed internationally, including unique systems not taught elsewhere.  Students come from all countries, and consistently give a post-course evaluation score of 10 out of 10 - or over!

This two-week program helps every level of being of a cancer patient, physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.  We have had success even for patients who had lost hope.     
 Retreats - time to think, walk, or contemplate.  Contemplating the seascape beauty from 'Heaven-by-the-Sea',  is often a healing in itself.  During the day, individual therapies are available by appointment.  Alternatively, simply enjoy peaceful, healthy sea air, and beautiful cliff or seaside walks.
