Each month the distant healing focus will change to a different priority. DID YOU KNOW... that distant healing used to be called 'absent healing'. The name was changed to the more accurate 'distant healing' after many comments from prospective recipients such as, "Thank you for offering to send me absent healing but please tell me when you'll be absent." Or, "Please don't send absent healing on Friday night as I'll be absent at the pub." DO YOU REQUIRE DISTANT HEALING? "Thank you for your help because at 10pm I thought of you and that you would help to relieve my pain. And it happened. I am feeling better and I did sleep." Maria Dos Santos Please ask for distant Reiki Healing IN WRITING. Reiki will be sent at 1pm and 10pm. 5 minutes beforehand, be in a comfortable and peaceful area. Unplug the telephone if necessary. Then simply: 1. Be comfortable. Sit with back straight, feet apart and flat on the floor, and one palm on each leg, or lie with arms by sides, and legs slightly apart. 2. Breathe deeply in and out for about one and a half minutes without moving your head and shoulders. 3. Relax the body by imagining you are floating down into the chair or bed for one and a half minutes. 4. Relax the mind by thinking of a beautiful scene of nature for about one and a half minutes. 5. Be still and quiet for about 15 minutes. This gives Reiki healing energy a greater chance to work. 7. Reports/Feedback are very important. Please send:- a) Details of the condition your doctor has diagnosed. b) List the symptoms of that condition. For example, a chest pain may also cause pains elsewhere, breathlessness or inability to walk far. c) Give each symptom a score out of 10, where 0 = nothing and 10 = terrible. d) Please report once monthly on changes in your condition and each symptoms latest score. This will help us to decide whether and how to change distant Reiki if necessary. 8. Fees. Although there are no set fees for distant Reiki healing all donations to our healing work are gratefully received and go towards the upkeep of our 'Heaven-by-the-Sea' Healing Centre.
